F-11 Photographic | iPhoneography: Creative Photography with your iPhone

Put the fun back in photography with this two day course on image making with your iPhone (or Droid). It's the camera you always have in your pocket, so why not make the very best pictures with it? Go beyond grab shots with your camera phone and open up a world of new photographic possibilities with F11's favorite guest instructor, Sandra Nykerk. Get excited about new ways to photograph and edit. Learn basic workflow, how to use alternative camera apps and discover Sandra's favorite editing apps for transforming basic snaps into creative works of art.

Our first day on Friday will begin in the classroom with lecture and demonstration. We’ll continue after lunch by reviewing available Applications and getting them downloaded onto your phone. (Budget $10 - $20 for Apps) A brief shooting excursion will be followed by hands-on editing practice back in the classroom.

We’ll spend Saturday morning out and about, shooting the many fun subjects that Bozeman has to offer. In the afternoon we will return to the F11 classroom, with one-on-one help for editing and processing. We’ll end our time together with a fun presentation of our favorite images created during the class.

A Camera Phone (iPhone, iTouch, or Droid)
An iTunes Account
(If you don’t already have one, please be sure to set one up before you come to class. And be sure to remember your password!)

Workshop & Class Enrollment Cancellations

When you need to cancel your enrollment in a class or workshop, do it as soon as you can. We make substantial logistical arrangements many months in advance based on your commitment to attend.

Cancellations for Guest Instructed classes or Field workshops

• Within forty-five days of the workshop/class start date, we’ll issue you a full refund.

• Within forty-four to thirty days of the start date, we’ll refund your deposit less 50% of the workshop/class fee.

• Within twenty-nine days or less of the start date, we will be unable to give any refunds.

• F-11 is not responsible for cancellations due to medical emergencies.

Cancellations for in house classes

Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days prior to date of the class.

50% refund for cancellations up to 7 days prior to the date of the class.

50% credit towards another class for cancellations after 7 days prior to date of class.

If F-11 cancels a workshop

Should we cancel a workshop due to minimum enrollment not being met, the payments you have made to F-11 will be refunded in full. You may transfer payments to another workshop if you wish. F-11 is not responsible for refunds of travel or lodging expenses should a workshop be cancelled. F-11 will give a minimum of 30 days notice if a workshop is being cancelled.
