F-11 Photographic Supplies and professional photographer Felix Marquez invite you to a 3-day hands-on workshop focusing on light, color and composition. Learn to capture incredible color without the use of filters or computer software the same way Felix does. Understand the different lighting in nature, and see how to use color, contrast, lines, forms and shapes to create images with outstanding composition. Don't just take pictures; learn to create images under Felix's expert guidance.

Registration, introduction and group critique with participants sharing the best and worst image they’ve ever taken.
Saturday August 20th, 8:30am to 5:30pm on location
Three 45-minute lecture sessions, each with its own shooting assignment (to put your newly learned techniques into practice), image editing session and a group critique. Felix will allow you to try out his own photo gear in the field.
Sunday August 21st, 8:30am to 12:00pm at F-11 Photo
Lighting and basic posing presentation followed by hands-on studio shoot and critique.

Workshop & Class Enrollment Cancellations
When you need to cancel your enrollment in a class or workshop, do it as soon as you can. We make substantial logistical arrangements many months in advance based on your commitment to attend.
Cancellations for Guest Instructed classes or Field workshops
• Within forty-five days of the workshop/class start date, we’ll issue you a full refund.
• Within forty-four to thirty days of the start date, we’ll refund your deposit less 50% of the workshop/class fee.
• Within twenty-nine days or less of the start date, we will be unable to give any refunds.
• F-11 is not responsible for cancellations due to medical emergencies.
Cancellations for in house classes
Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days prior to date of the class.
50% refund for cancellations up to 7 days prior to the date of the class.
50% credit towards another class for cancellations after 7 days prior to date of class.
If F-11 cancels a workshop
Should we cancel a workshop due to minimum enrollment not being met, the payments you have made to F-11 will be refunded in full. You may transfer payments to another workshop if you wish. F-11 is not responsible for refunds of travel or lodging expenses should a workshop be cancelled. F-11 will give a minimum of 30 days notice if a workshop is being cancelled. | |
