Photographing Autumn in Yellowstone Country
September 23rd through 25th, 2011
Workshop at the B-Bar Ranch
Instructed by by Sandra Nykerk
This September, join F-11 Photographic Supplies for the last-chance-in-a-lifetime opportunity to photograph the Rare Breed Suffolk Draft Horses at the spectacular B Bar Ranch just north of Yellowstone National Park. These majestic creatures will be moving to new homes, so this will be the last chance to photograph them in the stunning landscapes of the B Bar Ranch. Photograph the gardens, rustic barns, a tipi tucked in the trees, autumn color, wildlife and other classic western scenes found on the working B Bar Ranch.
The workshop begins with an inspirational primer on Friday afternoon by instructor Sandra Nykerk. Then, make your first images of the B Bar in evening light. Delight in a chef prepared meal, talk over the day and retreat to a wonderful mountain cabin for the night. Saturday, photograph at the historic barn and get some face time with the horses. There will be a wagon ride, lots of shooting, plenty of stories and Sandra to guide your creative muse. Our day will conclude with another wonderful fresh organic chef prepared dinner and image sharing. Spend a second night in your cabin, then get up early to shoot the sunrise. We’ll have breakfast, one more location shoot and then back to the lodge for a short review of student images and lunch before we all head home with camera cards full of fabulous pictures to share with our friends and family.
The cost of $750 includes photographic instruction, two nights lodging and delicious, beautiful meals prepared by the B Bar chef. Pamper yourself and indulge your photographic senses in this spectacular one of a kind location. Make your reservation today by calling F-11 Photographic Supplies at 406-586-3281 or 800-548-0203. Or, sign up 24-7 on our website, www.f11photo.com.
